With Friday and Saturday completely sold out, the 2026 edition marked the highest attendance in the festival’s history and further solidified BeachLife as one of Southern California’s standout music experiences.
Set against the waterfront backdrop of the South Bay, BeachLife once again blended legendary artists, rising talent, local culture, and laid back beachside energy into a festival atmosphere unlike any other. Friday kicked off with energetic performances from Fitz & The Tantrums, Grouplove, and Flipturn, bringing infectious indie and alternative energy to the festival grounds. Later in the evening, Duran Duran delivered a nostalgic set filled with fan favorites and timeless hits, while The Chainsmokers closed out the night with a high energy performance packed with massive singalong moments.
Saturday continued the momentum with a diverse mix of genres and performances. beyond the music
In the days leading up to the festival, BeachLife also hosted its annual charity gala at the California Surf Club on Wednesday, April 29. Titled Evening by the Sea, the event brought together community members, supporters, and music fans for an evening centered around live music, celebration, and giving.
The night featured a special acoustic performance by Slightly Stoopid, with hosting duties led by Jim Lindberg. The intimate performance added a unique live music element to the evening, setting the tone for a night focused on community connection and charitable support.
Through ticket sales and silent auction contributions, the gala helped raise more than 150,000 dollars in support of a broad group of local and national nonprofit organizations. Beneficiaries included the Redondo Beach Police & Fire Foundation, Surfrider Foundation, Wyland Foundation, Heal the Bay, Redondo Beach Education Foundation, South Bay Parkland Conservancy, King Harbor Youth Foundation, South Bay Boardriders Club, Friendship Foundation, Jimmy Miller Foundation, Lanakila Foundation, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Since its inception, BeachLife’s philanthropic efforts have contributed more than 900,000 dollars in total support for charitable causes, reinforcing a long standing commitment to community impact, coastal preservation, and giving back to the region that helps define the festival’s identity.
